The Second Annual Claddagh Fund Celebrity Hockey Tournament Powered by TRUE HOCKEY is being held on Saturday, April 29th at Breakaway Ice Center in Tewksbury, MA. Join the Dropkick Murphys and a host of celebrity friends, including Bruins’ Alumni, local entertainment personalities and sports legends as well as participating hockey players of all abilities for a great day of competitive hockey, entertainment, awards, food and drink, all to raise money for Claddagh Fund.
There will be two divisions to accommodate all levels of hockey players: Division A for more competitive players as well as advanced hockey players with teams who would like to participate in a fast, highly skilled level of play; Division B for recreational teams that want to participate, but in a somewhat slower environment. Each team must have a minimum of 13 skaters and a goalie. Each team will be provided a celebrity.
Online registration for the 2016 Inaugural Claddagh Fund Celebrity Hockey Tournament requires a team captain and an initial deposit of $500, with a team fundraising commitment of $4,000 minimum. The Claddagh Fund will establish a fundraising platform for each team as well as individuals who are seeking to fundraise on behalf of their team. Individual fundraising will be counted back toward their team commitment of $4,000. Corporate sponsors are encouraged for each team, with the ability to add a corporate name to jerseys. The team that raises the most amount of money will have access to special upgrades and prizes.
Each participating player will receive a Claddagh Fund hockey jersey, access to post-tournament award party that will include food, drinks, entertainment, raffle and prizes!
